# Elon Musk

Elon Musk (born in 1971) is a globally known tech entrepreneur and investor, best known as the founder of space exploration company SpaceX and CEO of the electric car manufacturer Tesla. He is also credited as one of the founders of the PayPal platform. Musk has often been mentioned in the news and reports dealing with cryptocurrencies, which he is, apparently, a great fan of. This is recent change, however, as it was only in 2018 that the entrepreneur has claimed owning “zero cryptocurrency” following spam for ETH under the fake accounts bearing his name. Soon enough, Musk changed his opinion, claiming that the Bitcoin is quite brilliant and that cryptos represent a superior platform for transferring value. From time to time, Musk’s comments on cryptos take a lighter note, such as when he recently described Dogecoin as his favorite cryptocurrency, giving the coin in question a short boost in popularity in the process.
